Extended deadline for paper submission
Due to many requests we have extended paper submission deadline to 21st of June 2019. Please note that this is the very final deadline. While preparing the submission, please follow the guidelines for paper submission (http://crua2019.icua.hr/index.php/submission-details-for-papers/ ).
Authors will be notified of paper acceptance or non-acceptance by email as close as possible to the published author notification date of 1st July 2019.

The ICUA is pleased to announce the call for papers for the international conference ‘’Conservation and restoration in underwater archaeology: experiences, methods and new discoveries’’.
The conference will consider following topics:
- In situ preservation of underwater archaeological materials and sites
- Conservation case studies
- Application of new materials and technologies for conservation practice and continued review of established methods
All aspects of the conservation, study and research of underwater cultural heritage are welcome.
The members of the Scientific Committee will evaluate the submitted abstracts. The final acceptance will be decided jointly by the members of the Scientific and the Programme Committee. Acceptance will be based on the quality of the written abstract, the innovativeness of the content, its relevance to the conference’s session topics, scientific value to the community and overall program balance. Notice of acceptance will be sent via email through the email address of the abstract submitter provided during the online submission.
The organizer will provide air travelling costs to and from the conference, and 3 nights of accommodation at the Hotel Kolovare (http://www.hotel-kolovare.com/en/about-us/) for the accepted lecturers invited to present papers at the Conference.
Lecturers must book and pay for their own travel. Travel must be economy class (up to € 250).
Reimbursement can only be made after delivering the Travel claim form and the original invoices to the organizer.
If the return ticket price exceeds the aforementioned € 250, we kindly ask lecturers to contact the organizer by email: email@example.com .
Chosen lecturers residing in Croatia, on the other hand, are provided with 2 hotel nights (if required).
Presentations must be delivered in English.
Each presenter will have 15 minutes at most.
After the presentations, presenters and audience can discuss for 15 minutes.
Please send your abstract (summary in English) and photos, no later than 03 June 2019 to firstname.lastname@example.org .
The abstracts should briefly describe the essential content of the work: the main issue, goals, the way of solving and results. It should be written in Word document (font Times New Roman 12p, single spacing) with minimum 2500 and maximum 3000 characters with spaces (including the title, name and surname of author, co-author, a biography of no more than 300 words, description of photographs).
Picture comments should be added at the end of the abstract (author of photos in brackets), and marked with: Picture 1: Description (photo: John Smith).
Please send us max. 3 photos as an individual graphic file (tiff, jpeg). The graphic files should have resolution of 300 dpi.
