Please\nnote that this is the very final deadline. While preparing the submission,\nplease follow the guidelines for paper submission (<a href=\"http:\/\/crua2019.icua.hr\/index.php\/submission-details-for-papers\/\">http:\/\/crua2019.icua.hr\/index.php\/submission-details-for-papers\/<\/a> ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authors will be notified of\npaper acceptance or non-acceptance by email as close as possible to the\npublished author notification date of&nbsp;1<sup>st<\/sup>\nJuly 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking forward to\nyour submissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your <strong>abstract <\/strong>(summary in English) and photos, no later than<strong> 21<sup>st<\/sup>\nof June 2019<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>to <a href=\"mailto:dkurtov@icua.hr\">dkurtov@icua.hr<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The ICUA is pleased to announce <strong>the call for papers<\/strong> for the\ninternational conference \u2018\u2019Conservation\nand restoration in underwater archaeology: experiences, methods and new\ndiscoveries\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference will consider\nfollowing topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong><em>In\nsitu<\/em><\/strong><strong> preservation of underwater\narchaeological materials and sites<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Conservation\ncase studies<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Application of new\nmaterials and technologies for conservation practice and continued review of\nestablished methods<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All aspects of the conservation,\nstudy and research of underwater cultural heritage are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The members of the <strong>Scientific Committee<\/strong> will evaluate the submitted abstracts. The final acceptance will be decided jointly by the members of the <strong>Scientific<\/strong> and the <strong>Programme Committee<\/strong>. Acceptance will be based on the quality of the written abstract, the innovativeness of the content, its relevance to the conference&#8217;s session topics, scientific value to the community and overall program balance<strong>.<\/strong> Notice of acceptance will be sent via email through the email address of the abstract submitter provided during the online submission.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\norganizer will provide air travelling costs to and from the conference, and 3\nnights of accommodation at the <strong>Hotel\nKolovare<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotel-kolovare.com\/en\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>http:\/\/www.hotel-kolovare.com\/en\/about-us\/<\/strong><\/a>)\nfor the accepted lecturers invited to present papers at the Conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lecturers must book and pay for their own travel. Travel must be\neconomy class (up to \u20ac 250). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lecturers are kindly invited to fulfil the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Travel claim form (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/icua.hr\/images\/dokumenti\/2019\/Travel Claim Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Travel claim form <\/a><\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Travel claim form (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/icua.hr\/images\/dokumenti\/2019\/Travel Claim Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">(pdf download)<\/a> and return it to the following email: &nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:mmustac@icua.hr\">mmustac@icua.hr<\/a><strong> <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reimbursement can only be made after delivering<strong> the Travel claim form and the original invoices <\/strong>to the organizer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the return ticket price exceeds the aforementioned \u20ac 250, we\nkindly ask lecturers to contact the organizer by email: <a href=\"mailto:dkurtov@icua.hr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>dkurtov@icua.hr<\/strong><\/a> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chosen lecturers residing in Croatia<\/strong>,\non the other hand, are provided with 2 hotel nights (if required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presentations must\nbe delivered in English. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each presenter\nwill have 15 minutes at most. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the\npresentations, presenters and audience can discuss for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send your <strong>abstract <\/strong>(summary in English) and photos, no later than <strong>03 June 2019 <\/strong>to  <a href=\"mailto:dkurtov@icua.hr\">dkurtov@icua.hr<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The abstracts<\/strong> should briefly describe the essential content of the work: the main issue, goals, the way of solving and results. It should be written in Word document (font Times New Roman 12p, single spacing) <strong>with minimum 2500 and maximum 3000 characters with spaces<\/strong> (including the title, name and surname of author, co-author, a biography of no more than 300 words, description of photographs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Picture\ncomments should be added at the end of the abstract (author of photos in\nbrackets), and marked with: Picture 1: Description (photo: John Smith).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send us <strong>max. 3 photos<\/strong> as an individual graphic\nfile (tiff, jpeg).
